Course Overview
This workshop will provide some more advanced topics when working with the Papyrus Designer and the DocDef script language.
The goal is to work with more sophisticated data formats to provide the input for documents, as well as reading XML data and direct access to SQL databases.
Furthermore the a chapter is dedicated to highlight to the implications of performance depending on the configuration.
Topics Include:
- Understanding how to read CSV, DCF, EDIFACT DJDE and RDI and OTF data
- Understand how to read XML data with the XMLRead command
- Understand how to access databases sing the SQL-Query command
- Understand performance implications depending on the various commands
- Use the debugger and see how to step through an application
Target Audience
The course is suitable for technical persons that already have an understanding of the Papyrus Designer Suite and have experience with the Document Suite.
